Orientation Test

Intended to test the function of the accelerometer sensor on the device.

Prequisite

  • Device with built in accelerometer (rotation) sensor.
  • Device with built in gyroscope sensor.

How it looks

Generally the accelerometer sensor is found on smartphones and is the main feature to rotate the screen horizontally or vertically depending on the position of the device at that time.

After the screen opens, move the device to the right, left or up and down like in VR glasses to see the panoramic beach view. There is also the sound of the wind and the waves crashing on shore in the background.

Browser compatibility
The Web Accelerometer API technology is still relatively new (experimental) and currently only supported on Chrome Browser and NOT supported in Mozilla Firefox. Please check the Browser Compatibility of Web Accelerometer API (MDN).
